SYF 2011.

I just got home from Syf!!!!! I shall blog about it while the memories are still fresh because today is definitely something to remember.I'll start with the rehearsal @ UCC first. It was our first time visiting the stage and wearing the costume I think!!! We weren't allowed to post the pictures cuz they were afraid that some other school might copy our costume design hahahaha.


I have lovely and respectful juniors, honestly. All of them are simply amazing. I can just joke around with them and it seems like the age gap is non-existent. Doesn't feel like I'm talking to my juniors at all. I'm always rolling my eyes/ talking sarcastically to them!!!!!!Way better than my primary school juniors.(Hearts hearts hearts)



Lijun is crazy hahaha she's always so high!!!!!Once, she asked me something.
"Yuling jiejie, can I call you Yuling jiejie or Yuling senior?"Even before I could answer, she already answered herself."I think Yuling jiejie sounds nicer. Okay! Bye Yuling jiejie!!!"
Ah hahahahaha so cute!!! Sometimes I feel like stabbing her cuz she can get so hyper LOL but she's the joy to the Dance Club.


















And today - 29th of March.Pictures!!!!



We assembled @ the dance studio early in the morning hehe we didn't even go for flag raising!!! Even at the start of the day, I was feeling pretty tensed up already. But I didn't rly show it out I think. LOL.




















Wing Kuan was so happy to receive a flower from her favourite teacher - Mr Darrell Tan.The flower's stalk broke LOL!!!!!



Then we proceeded with the preparations!!!!Foundation > Loose powder > Eye shadow > Fake lashes > Hair bun.






The seniors came back to help out too!!!After I graduate, I wanna come back and help hehe!! I can't tie a bun or apply make up like a professional, but I can give them moral support!!!! LOL.

I realised that I look so pissed off when I'm concentrating. LOL it seems like I'm about to kill someone.















HAPPY BIRTHDAY MII CHIANG.I hope you enjoyed your birthday today hehe it's quite a weird way to celebrate it but..... It's memorable!!!

Right before our turn, we were watching other schools perform. Compassville (I think) did really well!!!! The music was so.... Wow.And that was when I started feeling very very very very very nervous.
LOL I'm telling you man. All along the way to the stage - Which was quite a long while since we had to keep stopping - The few of us at the back were practicing our steps & kicking our back legs & catching our front legs THE WHOLE TIME.
I'm damn happy that our efforts didn't go to waste!!!!



Hopefully, we can get the video of our performance soon!!!! Oh and we'll get the results this Thursday :/ I honestly hope we can attain at least a Gold.
Well... I think we all tried our best! Although thr were tears after the performance, I believe nobody wanted the mistakes to occur. After all, we have been practicing for months!!!I don't regret joining Syf. This whole journey of learning, dancing, perspiring and teaching others the steps have been amazing. I built great friendships with people like Nicole, Jiaxin, Charlene, Claudia, Cheryl and Seekim.I'll never forget all the, "Eh let's ban qian tui" or the "Let's lian hou tui zhuan" or the "5,6,7,8. Shit shit shit shit shit. Again!!!!"
I don't wanna leave Dance Club.
But while that is said, SYF IS OVER!!!!!!!!














However...
I have school tomorrow ugh.


PS: Dear Jiaxin/ Huijun/ Elizabeth/ Serjean/ Cheryl/ Everyone else who shed tears, YOU GIRLS DID GREAT.PPS: I have to say that Claudia did extremely well today. Everyone should agree with me that she had the highest stress load for this performance, and she managed to overcome all of that and the last pose was done well!!!!PPPS: Thank you to all those people who attempted to comfort me last night since I couldn't go to sleep!!! Especially Ryan and Ruban hahahaha. YEAH AND CHARLES LOL I KNOW YOU'LL BE READING THIS.Oh and not forgetting the people who wished us good luck!!!! Be it on Facebook/ text/ face to face :)
