I met Ailyn and Xiaoqian at Bugis in the afternoon!!! Both of them came from school so I was the only one in home clothes sigh I miss having a uniform...... Anyway, we had lunch at Pastamania before heading to Parkway to meet Deren and Ee Ming! We walked around, went to I12, and went home.
The guys and I were discussing about how boring this holiday is. While waiting for school to start, we have absolutely nothing productive to do! The JC kids have started lessons, same for the secondary school kids, so we're just like. Nowhere. LOL. And the thing is, constantly going out is not good for our pocket money so our only choice is to work/ stay at home sighhhhhhhh.
I've been so used to waking up at whatever time I want, I'm DAMN scared that I won't be able to wake up for school!!!!

I am a funny-looking girl, especially when I smile too hard ah hahahahahaha.

At the yoghurt shop, Deren and I were playing poker while Xiaoqian and Ee Ming were playing Tiny Towers -.- GUYS AH ONLINE POKER IS DAMN FUN BUT MY LUCK IS TERRIBLE!!! I always fold at the wrong time because I would've gotten a full house/ flush!

This was from some random day when Ruban and I were playing Temple Run together!!! WE DIED AT EXACTLY 2932 METRES LOL HOW COINCIDENTAL IS THAT. I can't even remember why we started playing it haha I think I sparked a challenge or something.

This was when I met my lovely E478 at Suntec and they surprised the three of us with gifts, cards and cakes :')

I've been spending most of my time with my black ruby and I haven't been taking pictures, which would explain my almost-dead blog. Most recently, we had a mahjong session at Junwei's place, together with Chowlin Rongshun and Faustina :) I adore the moments when new friends are made.

On a side note, I really can't wait for school to start!!! I checked TP's website and I found out that they accepted 120 people in the course........ WOW haha I didn't know it was so popular! So lovely.

I'm not sure if I'll still be keeping this site when April 23rd comes. Everything is so uncertain, I'm so afraid of not being able to cope well in Poly. Tertiary education is so freaking important lar, if I screw up I wouldn't even know where my life would be headed towards.

So.. I got posted to TP's Pharmaceutical Science. No one I know is heading to the same course as me. This means having to make completely new friends, in a completely new environment, learning completely new stuff. I was bummed about not entering Serangoon Junior College, but then again I thought.. I would be learning something that I actually have interest in. Sure I was really interested in Lit, but guess this is where fate takes me. I can go and analyse books and poetry on my own, it's kinda the same..... School starts in April, and I find myself fretting about the minor things like stationary and attire.
I'm delighted that most of my friends are in their dream JCs, especially Anna and Joey. They've worked hard, they deserve it. Still quite upset about not being able to go through JC orientation, heard it's really fun.
I was contemplating if I should appeal, but decided not to. After receiving that message from MOE, I totally gave up. Yup so this means three years of hard work and attempting not to get distracted.
I keep disabling and enabling my formspring because I don't know if I should continue using it or not. Shall enable it for now, but it's not gonna be on my blog because I'm lazy to put it back up.
I'm playing Neopets, I'm that bored. Can someone recommend me something to play........
I miss my army boy. To be honest he's been the only person who's kept me sane through this depressing period. So many people have been giving me opinions and I found my decisions wavering but he didn't comment much and just silently stood there. I actually appreciate it the most. It makes me feel like he'll be there for me regardless of my decision.

We had dinner at Golden Mile before waiting for the coach to arrive. The chicken rice there is too nice I could've ate it for ever. The bus had comfortable seats and movies!!! I was engrossed in Pirates of the Carribean/ Mr Popper's Penguins.

we reached at like 6 in the morning, had breakfast at some disgusting roti prata shop and booked into First World! We spent the day loitering around, shopping and eating. OMG I ATE A LOT.

We sat the cable car to and fro haha it was quite misty. Up till now I'm still wondering how they built it so high above the trees/ statues. It must've taken ages lar, and a lot of patience.

THEME PARK DAY. It kept raining in the afternoon + the queues were too long, so it really dampened our moods. However, at night they lengthened their hours because of Chinese New Year, but not many people knew about it.
SOOOO in addition to the damn shiok weather, the queues were damn short!!!!

This was like.... Half of what we ate haha and yet we managed to finish every single thing!!!! THE ANG FAMILY DAMN POWER.

Guess which fearless person took Space Shot and Corkscrew!!!!!! It was my first time so I was honestly quite scared. ADRENALINE AH DAMN SHIOK.
On my way up, I literally screamed WHAT AM I DOING HERE OMG THIS IS CRAZY WHY DID I COME UP.

Previously when I came to the theme park, it was like four/ five years ago so I was too short and too afraid hahaha. Left this time with no regrets.

Shall look for a picture in my mum's phone as evidence that I am fearless hehehehehe.

Dinner at Kenny Rogers!!!!! YUM. And cheap also!

Not as many pictures as I expected because it's Genting lar. I'm not sure when's the next time I'll come again but anyway this was a very very good bonding experience for the entire family!!!
I didn't go house visiting although it's CNY because it's a tradition not to do that after a relative's death, for at least 100 days.

Anyway the only place which had Wifi was at Starbucks so you can actually imagine how bored I was while queueing up. Never actually missed anyone that much before........ Glad the trip was only three days :)

Breakfast buffet with mum in the morning before heading to USS!!! The best part of our trip was the fact that we had express passes so we could skip the queues haha. The Monster Rock show was damn good :)

This was my last task for the month (Or probably ever, depending if I'm quitting or not) - Jurong Point with my dearest sister!!!!

Over the weeks, I got to know a few of my supervisors!!! Griselda was the friendliest one, and we had lunch together!!! I had two shifts on the day and she was with me for both locations :) Jaz was nice too!!! I didn't get the name of the last one..... She was supervising me when I worked at Ang Mo Kio Hub WOOHOO WE HIT OVER $1000!!!!! Damn happy!!

I met Xiaoqian and Ailyn outside Ngee Ann Sec today :) We went to some mall in Tampines (I can never differentiate the names, there's too many) before going to Bugis :)
As usual, we made jokes out of each other's pronunciation hahahaha. It's just something that makes us who we are, I guess.

OH we were irritating Xiaoqian because I kept singing "GLORY GLORY MAN UTD" and Ailyn was singing some iPhone ringtone hahahaha she got damn annoyed it was so funny!!!!

I went to I12 with Anna, Joey, Eelin and Matt!!! We had yoghurt and gong cha before heading home :)

So......... My results.
I'm damn damn damn glad that the hard work I put in for Lit paid off!!!! I went over to thank Mr Darrell Tan and he seemed pleased :') He is a fucking good teacher anyone who is taught by him must thank God like crazy.
Haha I can't believe I didn't fail my higher Chinese.
OH AND CHEMISTRY, OH MY GOD I FINALLY PASSED. FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE SECONDARY ONE!!!! I got F9 (30/100) for my prelims so this is really a miracle, even Mr Lam was glad!!!!!

Biology was disappointing though. It's always been a subject which I had more interest in, but I've never done well for it....

My L1R5 for the first prelim was 35, and it was 30 for the second one.
SO OVERALL YESSSSSS I AM SATISFIED WITH MY RESULTS. WE MUST NEVER GIVE UP HEHEHEHE.

With that aside, I still haven't made a decision on my tertiary education yet.

My initial plan was to enter TP's pharmaceutical science because I have more interest in that...... But my sciences are weak so I'm afraid that I'll do damn badly and end up losing interest. Plus I think it's harder to enter a public uni.
So my sister introduced a new option, SRJC. It's gonna be near to our new house anyway. Mm on top of that, she mentioned that I can try working hard in J1 but if I really don't do well and lose hope in my A levels, I can drop out and then enter a poly, knowing that I've tried my best.

They're giving us 12 choices so my next few ones revolve around business studies/ accounting and finance in SP and TP haha.

Happy new year!!! I'm looking forward to attending a new school this year. Other than that, there isn't much I'm excited about.

I highly doubt that the fourth point will come true, but I'm legal anyway hahaha.

Am I the only person who finds these things very alluring?

Anyway, I'm gonna think of New Year resolutions. I don't think it'll be achieved since I talk cock about such things a lot.

In 2012, I shall.....
- Learn to take risks in life.
- Attempt to be less upset about my insecurities.
- Live by the quote "I don't care about what you think".
- Dedicate more effort in improving my flexibility.
- Love more.
- Laugh more.
- Trust more.
- Hang out with people without the fear of being awkward.
- Study hard, regardless of what school I enter.

Here's how I spent the evening of my 31/12.

I'm trying my best to remember as many names as I can haha.

Applebee's with the usuals (Wanwen/ Ailyn/ Jarrett/ Ellery/ Ashvin/ Sahil/ Jonathan/ Joanna/ Tingsiang/ Richmond) > Cineleisure with another bunch of people.
The initial plan was to head to Marina Barrage to countdown together so we divided into a few groups to go there separately. In the end, ALL of us got stuck at different places.

When the clock struck 12, I was at Marina Bay with Ruban. It was some grass patch and there were so many people! We had an amazing view of the fireworks though.

It was crazy man, took us over an hour to get to the Helix Bridge due to the road blocks and human jams. When we finally reached, we went to Conrad with Karen/ Matthew/ Junwei/ Sophie/ Eric Leong/ Desmond.

Chowlin drove a few of us to Geylang for supper and sent us home in the end.
Really really really long night. I reached home at about four in the morning, but it was a great start to my new year nonetheless.

OH did I mention that we almost got into an accident in Chowlin's car!!!!! This bloody lorry swerved into the lane and he almost drove into us!!

Xiaoqian surprised me while I was sleeping at home!!!! The small cake was lovely and chocolatey yummmm :) She left after a while though.
After that, I went to Taka's Watsons for work. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had due to various reasons which I shall not say here hehe.
I met Ruban and Keith in town to lepak. Chow Lin, Basil and Cindy came along too :) Our initial plan was to head to Makena, but we were stuck outside Cineleisure with no cabs. The foam spraying was damn scary!!! There would be random moments when everyone sprayed at the same time lol.

I went to Aloha Changi for E478's chalet! It was the most inaccessible place I've ever been to haha. After lepak-ing for a short while, the lot of us (Germ, Cheng, Tanwei, Derrick, Chris, Kasia, Tanjin and Minghui) went to Ehub to meet Chui, Gerry and Delvis. We caught Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 and it was...... Depressingly awful. On top of that, the cinema was freezing!!! After that, we had dinner at Burger King and I headed home :)

During my O level period, I told myself that after the few months of hard work, my holidays were gonna be amaaaaaaazing. SO WRONG. After a month or so, this study break is becoming so boring. I spend almost everyday at home, watching and re-watching my shows, barely even moving sometimes. I'm becoming a lazy fat useless bum.

Thankfully, I still have a part-time job.

My second task was at Suntec's Polar. It was the slackest job ever - All I needed to do was to stand by the shop, wait for people to come and redeem their cakes, and write their details down on a form. For the entire four hours, only two people came up hahaha so easy but really boring.

My third task was to be a Kitkat girl at Compass Point. My partner and I started work an hour late because the booth-setter forgot about our outlet. Instead, we had a trolley where we arranged tons of chocolates inside. There weren't much people, so sales were pretty bad haha.

I met Xiaoqian at Parkway!! We walked around and ran some errands before heading to Cineleisure :) The both of us were the only ones left who hadn't watched You are the Apple of my Eye hahaha. She couldn't stop laughing at the fact that I'm not 16 yet...... Anyway, the show was really wanky!! It's quite relatable though, with all the dreams and going to different schools. It wasn't THAT sad, just that the two main leads should've ended up together! They look good together, and the guy liked her for so long already :(
Hm I talked to Xiaoqian about our work and random stuff LOL I love how we never run out of topics to talk about.

Hi I had a job interview somewhere in Petain Road haha I honestly think it was more a briefing, because the interviewer didn't even ask us anything! He just passed my sister and I some notes and told us about the job. My supervisor, Paul, is really nice man he's some intern at the company (Visibility) and spoke to us like in a normal conversation haha.
My first task was to be a Kitkat/ Nestlé chocolate promoter at Jurong Point :) We had a booth in Fairprice Xtra hahaha GREAT JOB. I was targeting small kids and it really works, because they would whine and whine and whine to their parents. I love it when they say 'Thank you jiejie' in their cute voices hehe P4ED0PHILE ALERTTTT.
This guy called us Kitty-kat girls, and a lady said our dresses were nice hehe how very sweet!
The worst part was being poked by the tooth picks/ when I had to converse in Chinese....

I had to wear this dress for the job, with stockings and the accessories haha.
If I become a Baci promoter, I'll have to wear some other white dress WITH WINGS hehe so cute!!!!!

Hm make up is compulsory though......

My partner for the day was Li Xing :) She's so nice!!! It was my first time so she guided me through the entire day.
She really knows how to promote the products. Initially I wasn't sure on what to say, but I learnt a lot from her after a while.
I honestly think we make a great pair hehe I would lure interested customers to our booth, then she would explain the promotions to them!!

Year End Party.

I met Xiaoqian, Ailyn, Wanwen, Jarrett, Joshua, Tingsiang and Mingkai for karaoke!!! I was almost completely silent when Korean songs came up...... OH but Bubble Pop has this really sexy dancer. Nobody was singing but we just stared at the screen throughout.
Karaoke is always fun when Joshua is around haha he would sing songs like Pocket Full of Sunshine with Tingsiang beat-boxing at the back. DAMN FUNNY. Mm Jarrett's rapping is WICKED!!!! He's so good!!!!

I sang duets with this dear girl haha how very sweet!!!! I successfully rapped in one of my favourite Chinese songs whoop whoop.

I was damn surprised when Tingsiang started singing hahaha so cool man! It was one side of him which I had never seen before.

After that, we headed to NSRCC to meet the rest! It was like this huge family gathering haha there were very little strangers and it felt nice :-) A few of us were having the dirtiest talk ever lol we digressed to chickens/ frogs/ SNAKES wlao damn gross!!!! Ah and they mentioned that I resemble a cat, and an elf......
We spent our time there teasing Xiaoqian for the millions of hilarious things which she said, playing mahjong, eating, celebrating Vishunu's birthday, playing with light sticks, lepak-ing in the air con room, dancing to random music vidoes!

Ashvin is a sick bastard man he can puke whenever he wants to!!! O_O

I had a heart to heart talk with Xiaoqian, and it felt really nice to pour my heart out to her. Ailyn and Donn talked about their troubles too, and it was nice of them to confide in us :-)
I honestly think that was the loveliest part of the evening.

Midnight spelt loud music, crazy dancing and jumping in darkness!!!
I remember when everything seemed so funny to me, then I spent a really long time in the toilet floor wailing/ cursing....... I'm pretty sure I repeated the phrases "I don't know what to say to him" "Go away" "I don't wanna move" "You can't trust anybody" and "I hate everyone" a lot of times hahahahahahaha. After that, everything appeared to be funny again.

WE WERE JUST REALLY HAPPY, NOTHING ILLEGAL WAS INVOLVED :)

I met a new friend - Andrea :-)
Brenda's parents sent me out and I ended up on the phone with Ruban till three in the morning hahaha. I love speaking to him because he doesn't judge, and he's one of the few people whom I can share my deepest secrets with.... Without hesitation. He's really the best friend anyone could ever have :-)
Overall it was a delightful night, but it was the first time I let my guard down in front of people who aren't that close to me. I don't think I've ever cried so hard before, and I really regret it because my walls were torn down and it didn't feel nice.
SO GLAD IT'S ALL OVER. SO. SO. SO. GLAD.

Hi I went to Whitesands today with Ruban, Eric Lim, Eric Leong, Matthew, Karen, Fadhli, Chowlin and Gillian to send the army boy off :( We had a nice time chatting at Burger King and lepaking around.
In the end, he was late for the bus LOL so he took a taxi with his family. Chowlin drove the rest of us to Temasek Poly's Business School. He had to do some stuff while we wandered around omg the place is huge!!! I wanna study there next time.
After that, we went to Parkway and headed our separate ways.

They're really funny haha.
M - What happens if I fail my BTT/ BBT (Some driving test I assume)
C - I will laugh at you till the day your hair grows straight.
HAHAHAHA!!! Matthew has curly hair by the way.

Anyway, up till now Ruban's still texting me LOL it's as if he's not even in army!!!

Ah now I'm on the way to meet my sister before going for an interview together!!! It's a job at some super market or something.... I'm supposed to sell stuff, but my resume is blank so I probably wouldn't get the job oh well.

Aftermath.

On the first day of my grandma's funeral, Charles dropped by to pass me Strepsils and a small card. It was really thoughtful because he knew I had a sore throat and had to rush off somewhere else. X came at like two in the morning and helped us to fold papers haha. So so so so so thankful for him because he cabbed to and fro!! Oh and he got me cup noodles too. (If you're reading this, sorry for being so bipolar....)

On the second day, X and Y came. We were lepak-ing at the playground and chatted a lot haha. I can't put their names here because they weren't supposed to be there lol.

On days where I had to stay at the wake, I was counting on Red Bull and my lovely dramas to keep me awake.
I think the funeral brought the family closer to one another. I actually had a nice conversation with my Dajie's husband, the one which I used to dislike.

As we were clearing the house, we found so many old photos and had a great time laughing at some of them!!!! We could recognize each other by our distinct features - Erjie's ears, Xiaoyee's curly hair, Dad's nose, Sister's eyes and my birth mark!!!

This was my mum, when she was younger. I ALWAYS STAND LIKE THIS!!!! I hadn't seen this photo before so like wow it's in my blood haha.

That day, each of us received some of my grandma's memorabilia. Apparently none of us knew that she kept so many notes from different countries!!

I found out that I can't visit friends' houses during Chinese New Year :( It's a custom I think. However, we decided to go to Genting during that period of time!!! AS A FAMILY. FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!

I'm so excited hehehehehe.

I'm getting used to a lazy lifestyle haha I've been getting lots of sleep everyday and I waste my time doing non-productive stuff. I haven't found a job yet either hahahahaha.

This was the day when we were all supposed to take our dance exams.

Anyway, my exam was postponed to the 6th of December and I had to take it ALONE. Normally we're supposed to take it with three other people, but this time it was a special case.

The helper didn't report my next dance although she was supposed to, so I didn't know how to prepare until the music started. So, I panicked. That led to mistakes in my dances... HUGE MISTAKES. On top of that, the room was stuffy as fuck and I was about to die in my leotard.
In a nutshell, I was thrice as bad as I am during normal lessons. Hm don't think I screwed up a dance exam like this before.

I was too anxious, but well at least I tried :) IT'S NOT EASY TO DANCE IN A ROOM WITH PEOPLE JUDGING YOU OKAY.

This was when we made an impromptu decision to lepak at Jarrett's.
The evening consisted of eargasms from amazing music/ monopoly deal/ poker cards/ chocolates/ polaroids/ good laughs.

I met Anna Joey Beckie and Steph for karaoke!!! It was a birthday celebration for Steph and I :) Pretty hilarious, because of the random screaming/ sudden genre interchanges/ musical instruments provided by Teoheng. I couldn't join them due to my sore throat oh well. Steph was attempting to rap and beat box hahaha freaking cool. Have I mentioned that my favourite karaoke song is 今天你要嫁给我!!! I think the song is sweet, and one of the few Chinese songs which I love. My sister and I used to sing it in every karaoke session.
Anyway, we headed to Sakae Sushi after that. I honestly wouldn't mind living on crabmeat sushi everyday. I had like three plates of that haha so much that they wouldn't let me eat somemore. Oh and the salmon was delightful.

I met Ailyn, Denise, Sharm and Jaclyn at Plaza Sing!!! We wanted to have a Racy outing, but the rest couldn't make it. It's funny how we created this name four years ago, but still use it now. Anyway, we had dinner at Manhatten Fish Market while catching up on pretty much everything haha. We were reminiscing about old times in 6 Honesty, wondering what happened to people like Anis, Siti and Nigel. After Denise left, we went to Starbucks. Jaclyn's accent is so sexy.

Ailyn and I went to KLP after that, where we met Xiaoqian Tingsiang Mingkai Ellery Richmond Jarrett Sahil and Rahim.

Xiaoqian was being extra lovely because of my grandma's death, and I really appreciated that. Thank God for lovely friends :)

It's close to four in the morning, and I was up all night working!!! My sister gave me a job where I had to scroll through 83 pages in a forum, click on like 500 blog shops, find their emails and copy them into a Microsoft Excel file. It's quite a simple task, but it took me hours. I realized that I can grow up to be a workaholic. The dead line is on Sunday I think, but I refused to sleep until I finished everything. NOT BAD. My first job ever!!!

For the past two weeks, I've been spending my time on TV shows!!! To be honest, I'm in the middle of like... Five shows. How I met your mother/ Skins/ Modern family/ Big bang theory/ Gossip girl. I haven't started on Friends/ Two and a half men, but I reckon I'll start on them tomorrow or something.
I like watching everything at once.... And I think I'm hooked onto these shows. I missed a couple of outings because of them HAHAHA.

I met Jinglin, Litong, Sheryl, Murong and Kailinh at Pastamania!!! It was Grade 13's open class but I overslept haha what's new man.... We walked around aimlessly and made an impromptu decision to take neoprints. It's been years since I last entered the shop haha normally I would've disagreed strongly but I was too sleepy. Our eyes became DAMN FREAKING HUGE, damn unreal I swear.

Back at the hotel room, the girls were lying in the bath tub with steaming hot water. I hadn't felt so relaxed in a long while, I wouldn't even mind dying there haha I didn't wanna move at all. I think it's because the temperature was a huge contrast, compared to the freezing ice water in the Infinity Pool. SERIOUSLY I couldn't stop shivering there!!!
Wii > Dinner packed by Beckie's mum > Gong Cha > Fountain show > Helix Bridge > Flyer > Opera gallery (Oh my god the art pieces are so alluring, especially the ones related to dance!) > Back to the hotel room > Cup noodles > Team America.
I slept halfway through the movie, and woke up through parts of another show which seemed quite funny but I can't remember anything about the story lol. Junheng came during that period of time.
The second round of Wii was funnier because four people could play, and the players had fans which they could use to like bitch-slap their opponents HAHAHA. Matt kept winning, seriously he's damn good at the game. They played Super Mario too hahaha Braxton wanted to be left in his bubble so he was like, "Don't pop me! Don't... Who the hell popped me!" HAHAHA.
At three in the morning, Braxton and I watched The Notebook on his laptop! That show is so touching and sweet sigh everyone should watch it. Most movies are way worse than the book, but this movie is really comparable to the book. I cried like crazy :'(

Ah only a few of us could stay over, but nonetheless we had a good time squeezing on the bed!!!

Steph dropped by for a while too!

We were enclosed by a huge cloud so the whole place looked foggy. We also saw this beautiful rainbow in front of us! So magical haha.

It was a well-spent night with lovely people :)

I headed to Marina Bay Sands with Joey and Beckie!! Ah the place was gorgeous, it didn't feel like Singapore lol. When we reached, we met Anna, Matt, Ben and Braxton there :) The room was on the 42nd floor I swear I almost had motion sickness in the lift haha. After lepaking for a while, we went to the Infinity Pool on the 57th storey!!! The view was good, but the water was freezing. We had a lot of fun with Anna's underwater camera hahaha.
I have A LOT of pictures, so I'll update another post later!

We walked under the sun for like 20 minutes haha!!! I almost flew over to this ice cream kiosk.

Someday.... I will learn how to open my eyes underwater and not look funny.

Today, my grandma passed away. I sent her to the hospital in the morning, but received a call in the afternoon that the doctors were attempting to rescue her. So... I didn't even get to send her off. I knew this day was going to come, I thought I was mentally prepared to face this, but when I saw her expressionless face lying in the hospital bed, I couldn't take it. She's gone forever. I should be happy that she's in a peaceful place, happy and stress-free, but she's been a lovely family member to me. Even in her last of breaths, she couldn't stop reminding us about taking care of one another and fretting over our meals.
I held her face in my palms and realized that I've never been this close to her when she was alive. I would only massage her legs and help in her movements, but I never actually sat down and looked at her.
Death changes people.
If you're reading this, please cherish your grand parents. I have none now, so if you do, they are a blessing.

I decided not to go for my dance exam since all signs pointed me to that direction. I feel like shit, with my throbbing headache, sore throat and runny nose. I don't even wanna move my legs, and I definitely don't want to miss my grandma's funeral.
I had a revelation that I dance not because of gaining a certificate, I dance simply because it's my passion. So I don't care that much for a mark, especially within all this chaos now lol.

I'm feeling okay.... I've gone through my grand father's death, so I can go through this as well.

I met Annabelle at Odean Katong for Ms Chiu's wedding!!! She was my dance teacher-in-charge back in primary school, always nice and sweet to us. I didn't know that she was from Chung Cheng!!! She looked so beautiful in her wedding gown.... When she walked down the aisle, the look on the groom's face was priceless :)

We saw Ngee Ann Primary's principal and we shared an awkward moment hahaha.
"Hi Mrs Cheng!"
"Hello, you are students?"
"..... Yeah, four years ago."
LOL!!!!

We also bumped into Mii Chiang, Cindy, Yun Ting, Jean, Mr Ambert Khoo, Alefiyah, and a lot of primary school teachers haha. Annabelle mentioned that she didn't remember the teachers being so short LOL I honestly agree man they were waaaaay taller when we were shorter.

Handing over of the bride to the groom > Praise and worship > Solemn vows > Pronounced them husband and wife > Sermon > Signing of the marriage register > Thanksgiving speech which drove a lot of people to tears (She mentioned us dancers in her speech hehe) > Lunch!

This baby was chilling on the floor hahaha damn cute!!! However, the other infants were simply irritating. Throughout the entire wedding, they would randomly burst into tears/ scream in their high-pitched voices UGH.

This was our assistant dance teacher!!! She would take over Bai Lao Shi when he wasn't around, and give him opinions when he was choreographing our dances.

Ms Yong, she is one of the prettiest teachers in primary school haha. She was one of the dance teacher-in-charge too.

WHOOP WHOOP BAI LAO SHI. I miss being taught by him!!! I remember so clearly that I dreaded his violence in primary school. There was once when he even threw a chair at my senior Michelle. He would make us do 100 cartwheels, 100 front flips, and train us really really really hard. He would flick our heads and throw his shoe at us hahaha!!!
When I was in primary two, I couldn't even do a proper front split. It was tough man. But all the perseverance paid off hehehe so glad I had him as a teacher. We had Gold with Honours in primary six.

YUP I AM REMINISCING AGAIN. Honestly though, he's one of the three teachers I would never forget in my life, beside Zou Lao Shi and Mrs Sim :)

Ms Nancy Chen. Or was it Chua..... Anyway, I was so afraid of her in primary school haha. She has this killer look that EVERYONE was scared of.

In the evening, I ate at Simply Peranakan with my mum, sister, and her boyfriend. The food was damn amazing, especially the asam fish and bakwan kepiting.
OH did I mention that I'm half Peranakan!!! Don't look like one right!!!!
My mum went for a concert, so the rest of us walked around Marina Square. I had to exchange shoes with my sister for a while because my heels were killing me. HEELS KILL. The walk from the bus stop to my house took me about 20 minutes hahaha my speed could be comparable to a snail, seriously.
Ah but the moment when I took my heels off and stepped on flat ground...... Heaven.

My day ended with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate haha yummy!!!

I met Joey at Bugis, and we went to shop around haha we got some lovely rings!!!
Note - Do not ever go shopping with me if you need opinions, because I am one of the most indecisive person you will ever meet.
That would explain why we took so long to cross off the things on her list-to-buy. We have that same character hahaha!!!!

After that, I went to her house to help her clear up her room hehe. She had A LOT of papers to throw!! Can you imagine... All the trees wasted during all these years. Sigh. Jogie thought that Joey's hair made her look like an old uncle HAHAHAHAHA.

We headed to Bedok to meet Beckie and Minying. I dip-dyed my hair!!!! It's the first time I actually altered my hair colour so it was a pretty cool experience. My initial plan was for my hair to be dyed blue, but that would require two times of bleaching and the colour wouldn't stay for long. Hence, after just one time of bleaching, I decided to leave it as it was. It's like really light brown COOL SHIT.

The ends are a little dry, but after applying conditioner, it is so much better. Feels just like my normal hair! It makes me look quite ah lian, I know hahaha. Joey and I concluded that in Singapore, people will judge you as long as your hair isn't black. I mean like think about it! Any common colour like brown/ red will make you an ah lian/ ah beng. Any unique colour like blue/ green will make you a weird, rebellious kid in the sights of old aunties and uncles.
WORD.

Irrelevant, but one of the iconic things he said in the show :) Love it haha.

I met Jinglin, Minying and Litong at Lavender before heading to Murong's chalet!!! All of us, including her school mates, went to play bowling/ pool. I SUCK AT POOL LOL.
Ah we did all the usual stuff in a chalet - BBQ, card games, watching television, awkwardly lazing around..... Except for the fact that someone got stuck in the toilet for quite a while hahahaha.
While the four of us were playing Bridge, Jinglin and I were partners every round coincidentally and we kept winning whoop! There was once when I had all the aces so that was pretty rare heh damn lucky!!!

It was a little weird at first because everyone else was from the same school. However, after Jinglin and Litong left, I got to know most of Murong's friends hahaha we were like "stalking" some guys and they were telling me about them. LOL it was a funny moment. After that, we played daidee/ cheat/ stress/ bridge with Jalyn, Jie Yi and Emily. We played mahjong with Xi Yu too!

Murong's dad fetched Minying and I to Dhoby Ghaut, thus ending our lovely night :)

Agree with me - THIS IS A FREAKING PAINT BRUSH LOL.

We were sad because we were watching television all by our lonesome selves, when everyone else were doing fun stuff which we couldn't join in. This was for a while only though heh. Eventually we started to mix around.

Oh I waited for Minying's friends to arrive before leaving, and guess who was one of them! Edwin Goh. Haha I remember going crazy over him last year or something.

I have an entire album in Photobucket dedicated to the faces of Robert Sheehan hahaha. It's password-protected though, I don't even know what's the password LOL. The point is, I promise to stop ending my posts with his adorable face when I run out of GIFs/ pictures to post :)

Hello I finally uploaded most of the pictures into my Photobucket, so I can bombard this site with posts hahaha.
Grade 12 has new leotards!!!! From the old red one, we changed into this lovely blue leotard. I love this colour, plus it's custom-made so it's very comfortable. Hehe this makes dancing even more enjoyable.

Mm and this was some day at dinner with my dearest classmates :) We had Mos Burger before heading to our dance lessons together.

It was Si Ting's last lesson for the year because she's flying back to China, and she isn't taking the exam either. Peiying won't be continuing next year, so that was their last time meeting each other in NAFA :(

HI I STARTED READING THIS LOVELY NEW BOOK.

The Evolution of Bruno Littlemore.
Out of all the books I read so far, this one has the widest vocabulary. Benjamin Hale has damn good language haha.

Basically, this book is from the perspective of a chimpanzee who had been experimented on. He was able to talk/ act like humans, and the story is about his life and the people around him, before and after he "gained consciousness" as he always put it. Okay it's a biography LOL.

It's very thought-provoking.
There are sentences like "Sometimes the things of this world are less beautiful than their shadows. What is poetry but the shadowplay of consciousness?"
YUP it reminded me of Shakespeare and A Midsummer Night's Dream.... And the theme of reality and illusion. Too much Literature HAHAHAHAHA it's making me crazy.

Significant events.

In between my four weeks of O levels, there weren't many significant events which happened. I'll just blog about the stuff which happened amongst my days of studying haha.

On the night of the 5th of November, my grandma had a heart attack. The doctor mentioned that her unwavering heart problems and low white blood cell count might have resulted in another attack for the next two days. Not only was her heart failing more every day, there was also an infection in her right chest area or something. So, she was really weak and drowsy. She couldn't go to the ICU because her condition had been ongoing for 50 years and it's basically incurable.
To make matters worse, if she really did collapse, we would have to make a choice on whether or not to resuscitate her. It might result in her becoming a vegetable.
Thankfully, she's much better now :) She might even get discharged next week!!

We had a group on Whatsapp to discuss about my grandma's condition, so we invited my Dajie's husband into the group too.
HE IS SO DAMN BLOODY IRRITATING, I ASSURE YOU.
Within the first hour of entering the group, he had already annoyed me to the freaking core. He kept making sarcastic comments on how my grandma was simply over-reacting/ seeking attention/ disturbing him from his work. Okay so even if that was true, he didn't have to continually say it!!! My grandma is over 80 years old, is it that wrong to be paranoid about leaving this Earth?!?!?! Bloody cunt.

My aunt came to visit, and she insisted on taking a picture since we hadn't seen each other in months :)
PS: This is the first picture I have of my parents together!!! They started talking normally to each other again hehehe whoop whoop!!

Coincidentally, my other aunt was admitted into the hospital too. She was sharing her travelling experiences with me haha she's been to SO SO SO many countries, including Venice! She's really lucky because her husband, Uncle Fred, loves to travel. She mentioned that the experiences gained isn't something which can be replaced by money. I would love to have her life in the future :)

After the worst week of my O levels ended, I went to Bugis with Joey Steph Anna Beckie Braxton and Ben. We had lunch at QQ Noodle House :)

I was alone at NAFA while waiting for my lesson to start and the full-time students were there too. This is gonna sound creepy but they have this certain aura of a dancer. You can tell of their passion for dance simply by their actions.
They were so busy that they didn't even eat dinner, but nobody even mentioned about it except for a non-dancer who looked like their manager or something. They would exchange tips/ feedbacks, and immediately dance the steps out to improve.
EVERYTHING they talked about was relevant to dance and I was just so amazed!!! They made me feel like.. They were a family with a common passion. I was super amused haha they can rehearse anywhere. Freaking hardworking.
Ah I can't even weave my thoughts together it's so overwhelming ah bloody happy I met them omg omg omg ugh so so so so so so cool.
I wish. I wish. I could be like them. Even for a day. It would be so worth it.

To be honest, I didn't even attend my last Chemistry tuition lesson. Nor did I miss anything about it. Haha I kinda miss Jeannie though, she's so bubbly and helpful.

I find myself very weird for having this thing about good-looking guys with cigarettes, especially in black and white pictures.

Another thing that attracts me - Guys with messy hair and like tattoos in the most random places.
There was this picture, I'm not sure which guy was that, but his body/ arms had tattoos all over. They were all very small, so it was like randomly scattered everywhere. I actually find that very alluring.

So... I just revealed two things about myself that is really weird. I am weird. Haha whatever I like being weird.

Hello this was someday before my O levels started hahaha. I decided to take a break from all the studying, so I went to meet Xiaoqian, Wanwen, and the guys :)
I had a nice long chat with Xiaoqian because we hadn't seen each other for weeks before this. We literally talked for hours without stopping and like walked around aimlessly, away from everyone else.

I love meeting people whom I haven't seen for a while. The moment when you first exchange glances, then run to each other and have huge bear hugs? That's one of the best moments in life, especially when it's a close friend.

Nathan met his brother (Who threw a toaster at his dad, tied him, and put him in the boot of a car) for the first time hahaha. They ended up at the police station and while his brother was being interrogated, Nathan and his dad were talking outside. Nathan was like telling him to act like a parent and everything but got really pissed because his dad was acting like an asshole LOL.
Anyway, his dad walks off and Nathan's left there looking all sad :(

This is a damn random post haha I just felt like I had to share Mr Lam's hilarious-ness!!!!
He's a really funny Chemistry teacher who started teaching me this year. His tips are pretty good, and he's really straight-forward.
On the last day of school, he told some of us our good and bad points!!!!
He said that I'm a bimbo (LOL WHAT'S NEW) and that I should study hard so that I can 'attract' smarter guys, hence climbing the social ladder........
The comments he made for Melvin is freaking funny!!!! :)

Anna, Joey, Beckie and I added him into our Whatsapp group so we can ask him questions 24/7!! Hehe it started out really seriously, with all those Chemistry questions. However, being the nonsensical people that we are, we started side-tracking and digressed!!!!

Note - We made this conversations really late at night!!!!
So.... To anyone who hasn't taken their O levels, you can converse with your teachers through Whatsapp! Really helpful. We did the same thing with Mr Yazeed also!!!

Hello!!! The worst week of my O levels are finally over, so I'm back to blogging!!! I checked my Nuffnang and I'm so sorry to those who came to this site even though I didn't update hehe. Mm I think the only thing I screwed up really badly was my English composition. The anxiety got to me, so I literally sat there stoning for about 10 minutes, not knowing what to write. The rest were okay, not including Chemistry because that's my worst subject and I definitely wouldn't score well lol. I'm just hoping that I won't fail anything because of the bell curve :)

Okay I'm gonna start with my school's graduation night, on the 7th of October!!!!

The class had a much livelier atmosphere on the day itself, with the guys playing with styrofoam and dumping them on people lol. Most of us went for steamboat outside school hehe it was damn filling!!! I think the funniest part was when Xinhao imitated the characters on television since there was no volume.
"Li mm si wa eh lao bu!" HAHAHAHAH.

Eventually, we walked back to school under the rain and Melvin planked on the wet floor and Yingjie puked and the girls were cheering "Lam pong lam pong lam ping pong".

The ceremony was really quite memorable. There was the usual principal/ LM talks, class videos, prize giving and the receiving of report books. I think the best part was when Ms Mong, Mr Tay and Mr Law wanted to sing the graduation song but almost all the secondary fours made an impromptu decision to run up stage. LOL we were like singing along and shouting and clumped together even though we might not know the person beside us. We had our arms around each other's shoulders and jumped around :)

I love being in 4 Integrity!!! We even created cheers for Clara and Liang Liang when they went up stage!!!

The emotional wave only occurred when we went on stage as a class to have a class photo. There were so many people crying, it was pretty much contagious. The walk out of the grand audi was sweet.......... I don't know man it just felt like there were no enemies.

21 of us and Beckie went to Macs in Parkway but I felt damn sick. Horrible feeling lol thought I was gonna faint and die.

I can't believe it. Four years in this temple of a school and I made it. Gonna miss the people there and the memories we shared. I hope our cohort does well for our O levels!!!!

I wasn't supposed to blog, but I felt uncomfortable for leaving this site to rot haha. I deleted like three posts because I didn't like so many "random" posts lurking around. It's sort of an OCD I guess......
According to my countdown, it's 8 days to the start of my O levels!!! I'm feeling extremely worried, yet really excited! After whatever the school has put me through this 4 years, it'll be sad if I leave the school with a bad score. Can you imagine? After all the practices/ lessons/ lectures/ SDPs/ SSPs/ SAPs/ worksheets!!!!

I'm still unsure of which school I wanna go to..... I don't really have an aim. I'm just leaving it until January 2012 when I get back my results to decide haha. I'm thinking of either SAJC/ TP :-) Pharmaceutical science sounds pretty interesting.

For my second prelims, the only subject I failed was Chemistry. I'm still gonna turn up for the paper though! I've been doing quite a lot of practices and I honestly think I've improved. At least I understand about 70% of the concepts now haha. It goes the same for the rest of the subjects, including Biology! The rest of my results are all ranging from B4 to C6 lol it's quite bad.
This is gonna sound weird but I'm most afraid for English. I mean like it's the most important subject, and my composition-writing is HORRIBLE. My grammar is extremely limited and I don't have a creative mind to think of an incredible plot!!! So frustrating.

My life these few weeks have been nothing but mundane. The only interesting day was when I caught Fright Night!! That show is DOPE. I wanna watch Real Steel so badly, but I can't afford to waste anymore time :(

Wow this post is really wordy hahaha! I AM GONNA MEET XIAOQIAN TOMORROW!!! She's coming over for dinner, but we're not gonna meet for long haha. Her exams have ended ugh that lucky girl.

Yesterday was a great day because I went out with my dearest NAFA dancers!!!! Minying, Franny and Peiying couldn't come sigh :( Well at least Amanda got to know Jinglin, Sheryl and Litong!!!! It's nice how we're able to click with dancers that are one grade above us :-)
We roamed around Orchard, window shopping at Cineleisure and Far East Plaza hehe. Jinglin, Murong, Amanda and I went to Macs to study after a while. It was pretty productive hehe at least I completed my mind maps for History!!
Digressing - I hope this studying method will help me remember the content....
Anyway, we were trying to figure out the location for our next meet up, but it was so difficult because we all live at different parts of Singapore LOL.

OH I WAS SPAZZING OVER EVERYTHING IN TYPO!!!! It's this shop in Wisma (I think) and they sell freaking cool stuff!!! Notebooks/ mustache clocks/ mustache sticky notes/ cute cases! It's like Heaven on Earth hahaha!!!!!

I made an impromptu decision to go to Ailyn's birthday BBQ!!!! Initially it was only for her classmates, but Xiaoqian and I decided to crash it since the previous day hahaha we are such assholes. Apparently, Ailyn decided to invite the guys too!!!! :) Have I mentioned how much I love barbequed marsh mallows? I like them crispy on the outside but soft on the inside hehehe. The few of us chilled by the pool while the 4R2 people were downstairs hehe.
Sam and Max SERIOUSLY SLIMMED DOWN A LOT!!!!! They changed so much since primary school :') Missed them so much man I used to be pretty close to Sam. In the morning we would be by the staircase with other people like Rachel, Jarrett, Melissa, Tariq etc. AH and we called ourselves the "LAN SHE HUI" because our uniforms were blue haha!!! Shit man I feel so nostalgic now. I miss primary school.

We told her mum to make Ailyn be the one to open the door!!!! HAHAHA. She made like three wishes because she had to blow out the candles multiple times, which is good! Mm the earlier part of her birthday didn't start out too well..... BUT we managed to make her smile/ laugh in the end!
We went for dinner at Swenwen's with her family!! :) Haha after that I had to leave already.

Hello!!! This is just gonna be a very short post hahaha!!! I'm gonna introduce my newly found loves.

1. Tamil/ Hindi shows!!!
My mum was watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (Which is translated to Something Happens THANK YOU WIKIPEDIA) so naturally I was watching it too! I think the songs are great, even though it appears in random times of the show. I can't understand what they're saying, but there are subtitles hehehe!!! The story line is pretty good too. Not THAT draggy although the show is quite long. Based on the Internet, it's a whooping 185 minutes!!!! LOL.
The show makes me wanna wear a saree and dance Bollywood!!!! The way they shake and move is damn cool man. They didn't do splits/ kicks/ technique-based movements but their steps are nice.
One more thing. I realized that Hindi people are really good-looking. I'm not even kidding.

Kajol is the female lead of the show hahaha. She is gorgeous!!! She has beautiful eyes too. Ah I think she looks so compatible with Shahrukh Khan!! (Look below) Or at least in the show they look like a great pair.

He's not the best-looking guy or anything, but he has this certain charisma that's very... Attractive :)

2. The Addams Family.

The things that Wednesday and Pugsley do are the completely opposite of what we're taught to do. Morticia even told her to play with her food LOL!!!!! But that's what makes it so interesting!!!

I met Ailyn and Xiaoqian in Parkway!!! We had a really nice time talking/ teasing one another hahaha I laughed SO hard my stomach ached!!!! All of us have pronunciation problems I'm serious.

In the evening, I headed to East Coast Park for Junjie's birthday party!!!! He booked a BBQ pit there hehe. I spent my entire time chatting and doing nothing else trololol. 99% of the people there were familiar faces so it wasn't awkward, which was good :) Time passed so quickly man the two hours I spent there felt like no more than 10 minutes.
My mum picked me up at midnight whoop whoop!!! How sacrificial hehe.

Ailyn told me a joke which I need to share, just to show just how lame she is.

This grandma was about to die so she had some last words for her son/ grandson/ daughter/ grand daughter. She said, "After I die, please remember to take care of my farm. Don't forget to feed the farm animals. Don't forget to water the crops. Don't let anything die!!!" She passed them a box. They thought it contained the key to her farm, but actually there was a piece of paper inside.

Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell are amazing.

Denise came over to my house for wanton mee, which didn't taste good. So that sucked. We went to Parkway to get bubble tea hehehe she was talking about colours VIBRATING in her stomach. After eating M&Ms. You know. Okay never mind. We took a bus down to Scape :) The shops on the highest level of Cineleisure are TO DIE FOR, especially Rockstar!!! The acid washed bags from Baggu oh my goodness! We got Ailyn a cute tote bag as her birthday present hoho.

The 28th of August was one of my happiest days ever!!!! After an hour in Borders, I left the place with six new books and a huge smile on my face!!!!!

My mum insisted that placing the books in this position would look good...... HAHAHA OKAY.

It's quite a popular book hahaha Sheryl said that it's good!!! :) I asked on Twitter LOL.

I bought it only because someone on Formspring suggested it to me a few months ago. Yes, I haven't forgotten about your recommendation haha thank you!!! I know someone told me about Perfect Chemistry but I really couldn't find it! :(

3. Hidden - Cathy Glass
I honestly love her after reading Damaged!!! Being a foster carer is really not an easy job hehe can't wait to read this one! The description at the back of the book didn't explain much about the content, but of course the young boy had a hidden past heh.

4. Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother - Amy Chua
I hope I bought the right book!!! I think it is hahaha Joey was telling me about it previously!!!

5. Safe Haven - Nicholas Sparks
Anything by him is a good book hahaha.

6. We need to talk about Kevin - Lionel Shriver
LOOKS DAMN BLOODY FREAKING GOOD!!!!! This was at the top of my "to-buy-at-Borders" mental list, seriously. It's the thickest one among the six, but looks like the most interesting one hohoho.

HOWEVER.... I can only read these books after my O levels because I wouldn't have time to study! I really don't know how long I'll take to finish them all because I'm a very very slow reader, I assure you. I take like three minutes to finish one page haha. Maybe it's cuz I really read every single word and try to picture the scene in my mind. Once I accidentally skip past one word, I have to read the whole line/ paragraph again.

Okay..... I'm gonna talk about random things. As usual.

1. I had my O Level English Oral on the 23rd of August!!!! I don't think I did exceptionally horrible, although my reading aloud wasn't really good. I fumbled with like two words because I was pretty nervous! The picture was about this Indian lady helping a Chinese wheelchair-bound person play the piano. John said that it's the other way round because the Indian woman was blind. LOL NOT GONNA BELIEVE HIM I'M GONNA STAY POSITIVE. The conversation was quite alright. They asked me like five/six questions in total haha. I got damn agitated when talking about food, which made them smile. Which is good right? I am ranting. Okay.

2. Anna came over to my house on some random day and we were watching On The Fringe. This girl COULD NOT stop picking on the show. Even the advertisements were not spared!
"They're talking too quickly."
"30 minutes into the show and all they've done is make him go to school."
"Why does she keep falling? See lar. So skinny, so pale, so weak."
And when the girl said something like, "When we look up, we'll see the same blue sky", Anna went like, "Unless you're in different time zones."
LOL!!!!! Damn funny!!!

4. I woke up this morning with news my boyfriend fainted -.- We were on the phone at like.. 2 in the morning? And he was really sleepy, so he slipped on some towel, knocked his head on the shelf, fell on the floor and fainted.
A part - VERY VERY VERY VERY SMALL PART - was touched that he didn't tell me he was sleepy or anything. We just kept talking :) Okay he's alright now.
I was damn shocked lar!!! I thought he was ignoring me or something......

During our rehearsal at Goodman Arts Center, we were in a dance studio with a few other groups. There was this primary school girl who kept frowning!!! It seemed like she was trying to squint but it looked really funny!!! So.... That explains why they were doing this face.

Here I am, looking frustrated and about to murder people. I was attempting to do Chinese. Seriously man I don't understand how people can ace the subject!!!! All the choices in the MCQ (First section) are so similar lar.

My day started at Kfc with Minying, Jinglin, Murong, Sheryl, Francine and Peiying!!! Yummy food in the morning :) After changing, we had our final rehearsals for the curtain call. Our dressing room was all the way at Campus One, when the Lee Foundation Theatre is at Campus Three!!! We had to cross the road like thrice in our costumes, hairdos, make up and dancing shoes. Okay at least we didn't have to worry about getting into a car accident cuz the drivers would be too shocked to step on their gas pedals. Yup it was THAT weird.
During the preparation for the first show, most of us were doing productive work. (Yes including me!!)
OH there was this creepy man in black shades and a cap sneakily lurking outside our room. Seriously scared the shit out of everyone!! We were damn afraid that he was some psychopath/ serial killer/ flasher. He kept peeping into our room and waving at us lar. Ya Ni went out to ask him if we could help him with anything, and he cheekily said something like "I am just playing games with you all." -.- LOL. Visiting the toilet was like entering a haunted house because he was hiding at the place opposite the girl's toilet.

"TYPICAL DRESSING OF A SERIAL KILLER."

No joke. Hilarious now that I'm thinking of it, but still quite scary.
While waiting for them to escort us to the stage, the few of us were talking about damn random things!!! From Popeyes to a chalet to the virgin line to abortion to sex...... Yes we digress a lot.

Yan Ling came back to support us!!! :) It was such a delightful surprise seriously!!! HOW LONG HAD I NOT SEEN THAT GIRL?!?!?! Bloody hell why did she quit :(

Li Tong didn't join this performance so Francine took over her place. She was my partner!!! Wlao she learns dance steps damn quickly and perfects them in a really short time.

Focus - The two girls on the right (Minying and Peiying) look like they're kissing. LOL the wonders of camera angles.

I felt that both shows (3pm and 8pm) were successful hehehe. The latter was better though. There was a better atmosphere. Maybe it's just me.
Anyway, I got to see Ruimin and Elizabeth dance!!! By the way, they are students of the Hong Kong School of Performing Arts (SOMETHING LIKE THAT LAR) and used to be from NAFA!!! The progress that they have made is... Appalling. They're damn good now!! Oh and that male soloist (Which cough Minying thought was cough good looking cough) was one of the best Chinese dancers I've seen in my life! His expressions were so real and he could lift himself off the ground so easily, as it seems. He did make a few mistakes during the evening show but he didn't let that affect his dance at all. Such an idol..... :)

AH ANYWAY, I hope the Grade 13 people will come back and join the next performance, if Zou Lao Shi allows. Being on stage without them would be something I'll definitely miss.

I met Samuel and Spencer before rushing down to St Andrews!!! We literally sprinted across two overhead bridges!!! All to watch Kirk's boxing match :) We missed the first round but the next two rounds were pretty great. Mm he didn't win but I think he did an amazing job hehe. 15 others came along too but some missed the entire thing sigh.... After that, we were chilling around the school and watching Bryan play basketball. Wlao he's damn good lar!!! His height gives him a lot of advantage and he scored like ten thousand times. We watched a few other boxing matches and it became damn exciting. There was blood wlao I almost puked. Um the school sang their school song and I have to admit that it's pretty cool. UP AND ON ~ UP AND ON.
Rahim was tryna teach me Gujurati and he was like, "I could stab myself." HAHAHA I am a slow learner when it comes to such things.
Most of us headed to Kpool and we stayed there for a good 3/4 hours hehe. More people came and soon enough it was like some dope ass reunion aw :) It felt nice and warm.
I met my classmates there and they played a couple of rounds. Phng Ming said that I made a good choice HEHE WINK WINK. The match between Rahim and Xueting was the funniest. Bryan, Jonathan and Tingsiang kept disturbing the two of them! Poke when they're about to shoot/ throw chalk at the targeted ball/ lift the ball up and put it down again really quickly/ blocking their view L O L I couldn't stop laughing.
15 of us went to Lemongrass for dinner! Kirk's treat hehe. Bryan was tryna eat spicy stuff :) His whole face turned red and he was perspiring like mad. Oh he piggybacked me and spun me around aw :$
My mum came over and we went to Mel's Place. I love everything there. They play good songs too!! (Love Me by Collin Raye)

Hi this was some random day at Macs...... We went to accompany Spencer cuz he was doing his DNT. Surprisingly, he actually took a lot of effort!!! Which explains why the end product looks so good. Personally, I think he deserves a good grade :) It's nice to see people working hard hehe.
Ellery was explaining his DNT designs to me yesterday and I was damn shocked. I've never been exposed to much of the subject in upper secondary so I didn't realize how tough it actually is ._. His inspiration came from a simple icon in one of the phone apps and it transformed into this toothbrush holder. He made it in real life and IT LOOKS DAMN COOL!!!!!
Thankfully I don't take DNT I would definitely fail because my creativity/ drawing skills read zero.

Haha I have no idea why I'm talking about DNT. It just amazes me. So does F&N trololol.

It's officially August, which means I'm only left with less than three months to revise before my Os!!!!! It's painfully stressful. I honestly think the kids in Singapore are gonna have prematured grey hair/ early wrinkles due to all this.
ANYWAY, the class had a party while the other levels had their assembly! Thank you, Mrs Cheng, for - FINALLY - allowing us to escape the boring boring boring talk. I think all these are damn redundant lar. It's not really very useful to my life you know...... Especially those life stories, like the one we had a few weeks ago. I could hear secondary fours complaining lar. Hello? Do we need to paint a big I DON'T GIVE A SHIT on our faces before you get the hint?!?!?! Hehe very mean but very true.
Moving on.
The amount of food 4 Integrity brought was crazy!!!! Pizza/ bee hoon/ chips/ sausages/ snacks/ bottles of drink/ etc. Guess what. I didn't eat a single thing trololol. AND NO I am not on a diet. I just didn't have the appetite.

And this was on the 3rd!!!
After school, I walked out with Joey, Steph and Beckie. We were singing all the rain-related songs/ shuffling/ yelling/ doing the Alison face (CRACKS ME UP EVERY SINGLE TIME)/ doing the Steph face/ tryna pull Steph's pants/ etc. I had an umbrella so I was the driest among them hehe.
We had lunch @ Pastamania YUM pasta.
I headed to the library after that hehe Xueting told me the answers to her mind-f games!!! DAMN INTERESTING AND FUN TO WATCH THEM TRY TO GUESS THE ANSWERS.

We celebrated her birthday at Marina Barrage!! Joey, Beckie, Matthew, Darlyn, Ben, Justin, Christine and Braxton were there too! They were playing the guitar and singing the whole time haha I couldn't contribute to the music since I have zero musical talents so...... I helped to retract the kite back. It flew really high so that was good!

This was some random day at the airport with Joey. We ended up doing Anna's present instead hahaha I was trying to draw the Gryffindor house symbol and I failed terribly -.- There's a reason why I was never in Art Club HAHAHA. Hello haha I haven't been updating in such a long time!!! I've been busy :( Anyway, on the 26th of July, I spent the day with my lovely group of friends hehe. It was damn funny. Jarrett was like teasing Xiaoqian by saying that she should go and tattoo NEA on her body cuz she literally screams at anyone who dares to throw something on the ground. Baby Shower.

Yesterday, I attended my cousin's baby shower!! It was held at NSRCC haha the place was huge and spacious. Perfect place to hold gatherings/ events :) Throughout the entire time, I was playing with my phone trololol I downloaded Maple Story!!! SO CUTE. It's very fun too! Okay stop judging me. The buffet food was delicious! I am a glutton man seriously.
Ah I wonder how my future baby will look like ._.

Justin made a new friend there!! Within seconds, they instantly became really close playmates and starting throwing/ catching balloons. That's one part I love about kids. When they play, they give it their all. They don't care about onlookers.
But all the other parts of a kid just annoys me. Especially when they cry/ whine/ ignore you. Boo.

I was on Dance Club's Facebook page and chanced upon these pictures. There were over a hundred pictures, all of which depicts the actual SYF. I picked the nicer few and decided to post them here!!!
They look really good. Someone better print them out, laminate them, and put them into the studio!!!! HAHAHA.

I honestly think my front leg looks really ugly. Why didn't anyone tell me?!?!?!?! I would've practiced more hahaha.

The most memorable and stressful part of the entire dance hahaha.

I look so so so so so happy. But I truly enjoyed myself!!!! Really though, my smile is tremendously wide hehehe.

My favourite picture out of all. Seriously!!!!! My legs are just this close to touching my head and my front leg is straight! I don't like my pointe though. This shoe prevents us from pointing nicely trololol it's not even an excuse.

I found these two pictures in my camera! Hahaha it was taken a week ago if I'm not wrong. There was class phototaking and we decided to wear shades for two of the fun shots! Even Mrs Pong wore them hehehe so cute!! Ah but Mr Lam wasn't in the photo :( That was a really disappointing thing man I mean like our last year but the funniest guy in school wasn't with us. He would've made some funny pose, I'm sure. Oh well.
I walked out with Anna and Joey and we went to Katong CC after that!!! :)

This morning started off with Chinese in school :) It was a voluntary act so I'm very proud of myself!!! Sacrificing sleep for studies - Baby steps to becoming an A1 student! Anna, Joey, Chris, Teck Hwee, Yuandeng, Shaun, Wei Er and another guy was there too! We did some practices and the teacher provided us with biscuits, gross-tasting durian beancurd and CHICKEN PORRIDGE damn delicious she was cooking it right in front of us. Oh have I mentioned how much I hate durian? Apparently it's some durian season right now and my grandma has been bringing back loads of durians. The smell itself makes me wanna puke, seriously. I don't understand how people can stand it. My entire family loves it, everyone but me.
I rushed to tuition after that! Time seemed to fly really quickly cuz we were doing a lot of Math practices!!! Shall introduce my new tuition friend here - Fifah. She's really nice! She's quite introverted I think, really quiet hahaha unlike me. I saw Samantha at Soghurt!!! She's in VJ now what the heck man damn lucky lar!!!
Library was next with the usuals. Guess who came! AILYN KWANG LI QIAN. Hehe how rare! We talked a little and decided to have a full heart-to-heart talk soon. Either tomorrow or next week! Looking forward to that mm need to spend more time with her!!
My last destination for the day was Astons with my mum and my sister. I LOVE BLACK PEPER CHICKEN :) It's like one of the best foods in the world hehe. And fries. Trololol.

PS: I think I am addicted to eating roti prata. Thanks to Stangomango lar!!! Whole day talk about it then make me wanna eat!!!! I am an avid fan of curry :) Did I use that word correctly? Haha I think I did. Just trying to act like my English is very good when in fact it isn't.
PPS: My dad said that I'm fat :( WLAO!!!!!!
PPPS: I told my mum and my sister that I'm bisexual. I don't think they believed me. Oh well.

I met Denise at Bugis after school hehe!!! She got me Koi aw :') We walked around Bugis Street after that. She spent money within a minute of stepping inside and I'm not even kidding. Ah that place makes me wanna get shoes and bags. It's like my inner shopaholic self is revealed hahaha I sound so shallow.
We went to Haji Lane and finally settled at Coffee Bin nearby. We caught up on life and friends quite a bit ah good times.
I had NAFA in the evening. Performance is on the 20th of August haha I'm quite nervous man!!!! This is probably gonna be one of the last performances here that I truly enjoy. Why? Cuz of the amazing Grade 13 people who are gonna graduate this year! Jinglin/ Sheryl/ Yani :( Not forgetting Minying, Murong and Franny haha but they're in my grade.
I honestly think the few of us have strengthened our friendships thru these times. I love hanging out with them and hearing them talk so bimbo-ish, flipping their hair and saying "I am shocked" in an exaggerated tone hahahaha. Thr's supposed to a NAFA performance next year, as usual, but I'm not gonna join if Jinglin isn't gonna be a part of it. I'm serious!!!
Can't find dance mates any better than them. I love them all so much sigh :( 5 more dance practices to go! Better cherish the moments now and create good memories!!!

Makes me wanna abandon the library forever haha. I promised Xiaoqian that I'll go thr once a week or so though!!

How to make a dream catcher.

As requested, I'm gonna post about how I made my dream catcher. I'll try to be as specific as possible but if there are any loopholes, you can ask me in my Formspring HOWEVER I can't give you a 100% assurance that I'll know how to answer them.
You can start of with a theme of your choice and work from there. For example, I wanted my dream catcher to be bohemian-ish whereas Beckie wanted hers to be colourful :)

Materials -
1. A metal/ wooden ring of whichever diameter you prefer.
2. Approximately two yats of string to glue around your ring (STRING ONE)
3. Feathers.
4. String to attach your feathers to your ring (STRING TWO)
5. Beads. A few small ones and one bigger one.
6. A lot of nylon string to create the pattern in your ring (STRING THREE)

Procedures -
1. Glue STRING ONE around your metal/ wooden with hot glue. Try not to overlap it so as to make it more even. Prettier!!
2. Weave out the pattern of your choice with STRING THREE.

You can visit this website to see how!! It looks complicated but in fact it's really repetitive and easy!
3. On the last round, attach your large bead to STRING THREE before weaving. The bead signifies the spider that's on the web :)
4. Squeeze two/ three small beads into your STRING TWO and attach your feathers at the end.
5. Tie a strand of STRING THREE to the top of the ring as your "handle".
